How to use the Scalp & Strands S.O.S

Elevate your hair ritual with this nutrient-rich, luxurious blend of time-tested ingredients. Formulated to optimize scalp health and promote stronger, fuller hair growth.

Scalp Treatment for Growth & Balance

Apply a few drops directly to your scalp, massaging in circular motions with fingertips or a scalp brush to stimulate circulation. Work additional drops of oil onto the strands, paying careful attention to the ends. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deep nourishment), then shampoo as normal.

Pre-Wash Hydration Boost

Warm a few drops between your palms and smooth through dry hair, focusing on mid-lengths and ends. Let it absorb for 20–60 minutes before washing as usual.

Daily Frizz Control & Shine Enhancer

Rub 1–2 drops between your palms and use on dry ends anytime as needed for moisture and shine.

Growth & Density

+
Bhringraj Oil
Ayurvedic tradition

Bhringraj (Eclipta Alba)

Ayurveda, India

Called the "king of herbs" in Ayurvedic hair care, Bhringraj has been used for centuries to improve hair density, reduce shedding, and deepen natural hair color. It nourishes follicles at the root level to support visibly fuller growth.

+
Brahmi Oil
Ayurvedic tradition

Brahmi (Bacopa Monniera)

Ayurveda, India

A revered Ayurvedic herb known to strengthen hair follicles, reduce breakage, and calm the scalp. Brahmi is an adaptogen that helps counteract stress-related hair loss by supporting the health of the hair root.

+
Black Castor Oil
Caribbean tradition

Black Castor Seed Oil

Caribbean, Global

Cold-pressed and traditionally roasted, Jamaican Black Castor Oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, which stimulates scalp circulation and helps anchor hair follicles. Supports thicker, more resilient strands over consistent use.

+
Rosemary Leaf Oil
Mediterranean

Rosemary Leaf Oil

Mediterranean

Among the most studied botanicals for hair growth. Clinical research has shown rosemary oil to be comparable to minoxidil in supporting follicle activation — without irritation. It improves micro-circulation and has antioxidant properties that protect the scalp environment.

Scalp Clarity & Balance

+
Neem Seed Oil
Ayurvedic tradition

Neem (Azadirachta Indica)

Ayurveda, India

A cornerstone of Ayurvedic scalp care for thousands of years. Neem's potent antifungal and antibacterial compounds address dandruff, excess sebum, and scalp inflammation — creating a cleaner environment for healthy hair growth.

+
Tea Tree Leaf Oil
Australian tradition

Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia)

Australia

Well-studied for its antibacterial and antifungal activity. Tea Tree clears buildup, soothes scalp irritation, and helps maintain a balanced microbiome — the foundation of an environment where hair can thrive.

+
Honeysuckle Flower Oil
East Asia

Honeysuckle (Lonicera Caprifolium)

East Asia, TCM

Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its calming and clarifying properties. Honeysuckle soothes the scalp, reduces redness and sensitivity, and supports the skin barrier — particularly important for those prone to irritation.

+
Japanese Peppermint
East Asia

Japanese Peppermint (Mentha Piperita)

East Asia

Higher in menthol content than standard peppermint. Creates a cooling, invigorating sensation on contact while stimulating blood flow to the scalp — waking up sluggish follicles and supporting overall scalp vitality.

Strengthening & Repair

+
Amla Fruit Oil
Ayurvedic tradition

Amla (Emblica Officinalis)

Ayurveda, India

One of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, Amla has anchored Ayurvedic hair rituals for over a thousand years. It strengthens the hair shaft from within, helps reverse oxidative damage, nourishes the root, and promotes a natural shine coatings cannot replicate.

+
Ashwagandha Root Oil
Ayurvedic tradition

Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera)

Ayurveda, India

A powerful adaptogen used in Ayurvedic medicine to counter stress-driven hair loss. Ashwagandha helps regulate cortisol-related scalp inflammation, supports antioxidant defenses against environmental damage, and encourages a healthier follicular environment.

+
Horsetail Extract
Traditional European

Horsetail (Equisetum Arvense)

Traditional European

One of the highest plant sources of silica — the mineral most closely associated with hair structural integrity. Horsetail extract strengthens the hair shaft, reduces breakage, and improves overall texture and elasticity over time.

+
Dandelion Root Extract
Traditional herbalism

Dandelion Root (Taraxacum Officinale)

Global tradition

Dense in vitamins A, C, and K as well as iron and calcium. Dandelion root detoxifies the scalp, reduces inflammation, and delivers the micronutrients hair follicles need to produce stronger, more lustrous strands.

+
Beet Extract
Global

Beet (Beta Vulgaris)

Global

Rich in betaine, folate, and antioxidants that support scalp circulation and protect against oxidative stress. Beet extract nourishes the scalp microenvironment and adds a natural luster to dull or overworked hair.

Nourishment & Conditioning

+
MCT Coconut Oil
Tropical traditions

MCT (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride)

Tropical traditions

Derived from coconut, this ultra-refined medium-chain triglyceride has a small molecular structure that penetrates the hair shaft directly. It delivers moisture and active botanicals deep into the cortex without buildup or grease, and protects against protein loss.

+
Jojoba Seed Oil
North American tradition

Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis)

Sonoran Desert, North America

Technically a liquid wax, not an oil — which is why it so closely mirrors the scalp's own sebum. Jojoba regulates the scalp's oil balance, conditions without clogging follicles, and forms a protective layer on each strand that seals in moisture.

+
Grape Seed Oil
Mediterranean

Grape Seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera)

Mediterranean

An exceptionally lightweight oil high in linoleic acid and proanthocyanidins — compounds shown to promote hair growth in research. It penetrates without heaviness, conditions both scalp and strand, and adds a natural sheen without coating the hair.

+
Vitamin E

Global

A fat-soluble antioxidant that protects the scalp and follicles from free radical damage caused by UV exposure and environmental stress. Also extends the stability of the formula's active botanical oils, preserving potency from the first drop to the last.
